Yoga Nidra Series

Sunday evenings in March

6pm-7:30pm

At HUM

Tired, irritable, overwhelmed, stressed?  Time to try the self-healing practice of Yoga Nidra. Anyone can try it! It’s one of the most accessible and empowering holistic well-BE-ing tools that humans have to release anxiety and cultivate deep calm.

Yoga Nidra is roughly translated as “yogic sleep”. It is a self-healing and nurturing practice that helps you to reconnect with your inner knowing.  Laying down, you get into a ‘rest nest’ and are guided in a deep, systematically relaxing meditation. Your brain flows into a Theta state of consciousness (awareness) that occurs between waking and sleeping.

The uplifting meditation practice is a very gentle and positive way to reset your bodies flow of energy so that you can release stagnation and blocks and create a change of consciousness.  It’s ‘Energy therapy’ on a cellular level and all you have to do is listen.

So, do you want an easy way to get unstuck and break free from negative mental habits and detach from unhelpful thought patterns? Join us at HUM on Sunday nights in March for Yoga Nidra practice:

Session 1: Sunday, March 2nd: Healing & Relaxation

Session 2: Sunday, March 9th: Release Stress

Session 3: Sunday, March 16th: Single-Pointed Focus & Concentration

Session 4: Sunday, March 23rd: Hope, Joy & Positivity

This workshop is $30 for members or $100 for all 4 sessions and $35 for non-members or $120 for all 4 sessions. If you would like to sign up for all 4 sessions in this series, please email us and we will get you set up with the discounted rate. Workshop tickets are non-refundable.

Gentle Vinyasa in Support of WomenVenture

Saturday, March 29th

12pm-1:15pm

At HUM

Join us for a special class in honor of Women’s History Month as we partner with WomenVenture to uplift and support the next generation of women entrepreneurs and business leaders in our communities. The course is open to everyone wanting to learn more about WomenVenture’s mission and programs and engage with their local community of entrepreneurs and small business owners. We’ll take time to learn about WomenVenture and the tools and resources they offer to help women achieve economic success through small business ownership, then move though a Gentle Vinyasa class together.

Vinyasa is a series of sequential movements between postures that flow together with breath. You can expect both foundational postures of yoga and creative sequencing taught with a gentler and slower approach. All levels welcome. Let’s move together, celebrate women-led businesses, and support each other’s growth. Please reserve your spot in advance.

This class is $30, with a portion of each sale being donated to WomenVenture. Your participation helps provide funding, training, and mentorship to women entrepreneurs in our community. Please reserve your spot in advance. Thank you for your support!
